I. App Templates and Custom App Development

What is an app template:

  • An app template (‘Source Code’) is a pre-built application that has a lot of the core functionality already provided for you. The next step is for you to customize it to create the final app you want.
  • Each app template is developed using the latest major version of Xcode (Apple’s integrated development environment for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, visionOS, and tvOS) unless it is specified otherwise on the website.
  • The free support included with all app templates will cover only questions related to the source code. This kind of support will not cover generic programming questions, or questions related to 3rd party platforms/APIs/services, or questions that will require code to be written to answer those questions.

What is custom app development:

  • Custom app development is the process of developing a custom app or modifying an existing app template based on the customer’s requirements. These requirements must be communicated via the email listed on this website.
  • When requesting a custom app built from scratch, it is required that you provide the necessary requirements and any visual/UI files in advance.
  • When custom app development takes place, the final product (‘Source Code’) will be shared with the customer (‘Client’) after the client receives a video demo or a test version and confirms that the product works 100% as expected.

Disclaimer:

The app templates and custom app development projects are provided “as is”. Softmize App Studio makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties, including implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.
Further, softmizeappstudio.com does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or linked sites.

II. App Templates or Custom App Development Defects

What is a defect:

  • A software defect is an error in coding which causes incorrect or unexpected results that do not meet requirements.
  • A defect is considered valid only if the app crashes or behaves differently than what is shown in the official demo video.

How to report a defect:

  • If a defect or issue is found, the client must communicate it via the email listed on this website.
  • Not all issues reported will be fixed. Each defect will be analyzed to determine if it behaves differently than advertised.

III. App Template Updates

  • App templates will be updated only when necessary to fix defects.
  • New features not showcased in the demo are not part of free updates.
  • Not all templates will be updated for the latest Xcode version.
  • Updates will not be individually communicated — you must use your download link or request a new one by email.

IV. Rights and Duties

  • Before purchasing, you must ask all questions to make the right decision. Refund or additional work requests after delivery will be denied.
  • Do not assume features not shown on the product page or video.
  • If unsure, you may request a demo version before buying.
  • Templates may or may not fully comply with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines; due diligence is your responsibility.
  • Softmize App Studio is not liable for any lost profits, damages, or costs resulting from use or non-use of templates or services.
  • When using 3rd party APIs or frameworks, continued operation is not guaranteed.
